The Castlemaine State Festival of the Arts was one of the first festivals in Australia to go carbon neutral.  This decision was driven by people from within the community concerned about the environmental impact directly associated with their festival.  The end result was a successful event that sent a strong message on sustainability to the local and wider community.

This DVD is a case study on how to run a carbon neutral festival.  Interviews with key organisors explain how the idea was initiated and the steps they took to reduce the festivals footprint to zero.  The program also includes animation explaining carbon neutrality.
